Control Group v.0.1 (Jam Version)

Our yearly submission to the Preggo Game Jam, something I always look forward too. Sometimes it seems a bit silly to devote so much time to something that only a select ew can really enjoy, but knowing I made something that us merry few will hopefully enjoy is a special kind of passion.
Most games require an immense effort, and a good team can help shoulder that heavy burden. While I am devoted to dragging myself into these trenches, it is by the good graces and unshakable bonds that my amazing wife Slickpens and our good friend Dizzy joins me on these adventures, and I appreciate them immensely. I truly could not have done it without them.
I appreciate game jams for their opportunity to let you explore something new, and refine what you know. I always strive to push myself to try something I haven't before, so this years was the finally the year that I dove into the 2D bone animation system in Godot. The results are somewhere between decent and hilarious at points, but I learned quite a bit and can see a lot of use cases for future projects.
This year was also interesting in that I was traveling abroad during most of the duration of this jam. To say that added challenge to getting something out would be an understatement of the highest caliber, and while the time and TLC I would have loved to pour into this version was not quite what I had hoped, we still think you'll enjoy what we did manage to come up with.
So as the last of the post game jam adrenaline leaves me, I just want to say thanks to everyone who has been supporting us, on Patreon, buying our games, or even just playing them and commenting them. We love to hear what you think, and it's your passion that sparks our to create. I had some rather large changes in my life last year, some fantastic and some not so good, but they have let me refocus on creative pursuits and my love of making games, so I'm hoping to share a lot of cool things in 2025!
